Easy to open by using two hands. There is a tap on the left and right. Eggs are nice and shiny and very colorful. These are just right as far as opening and closing them. Not to tight and not to loose.
The eggs are the same size as real ones and the carton (made of plastic) is really nice and cute. The matching colored eggs are easy for a child to put together and take apart.

Colorful
These are cute and once snapped, the swivel of the snap can make them fun. I would say 4-5 is a good age range due to the snap issue.

My 2 1/2 year old daughter loves loves loves this !!! Egg container is solid !! Eggs solid and durable ! My daughter is like a bull in a China shop shes a Brut and destroys almost everything . Super baby strength but these omg she cant destroy them. She loves playing with them the colors inside the eggs are vibrant and so is the egg container !!! Love this great toy and you can have fun learning with your little one. My daughter loves them . This is a toy uou only have to buy once cause its so durable !!!!

I bought this for my 18 month old because he tries to take my eggs out of my refrigerator ???? so I got him his own set of eggs. It's cute, you can take the eggs apart and each egg has it's own shape and color that the child re-attaches. Keeps him occupied and he doesn't try to go in the fridge and take the real eggs!
