This is a good challenge. Some are easier than others, but all are a fun and interesting for my kids, ages 6, 8, and 11. It is better for older kids because younger kids may get frustrated. I love that it comes with a pouch to keep all of the puzzles in. I think this would be handy on a car trip. Good stocking stuffer!

These are cute and once snapped, the swivel of the snap can make them fun. I would say 4-5 is a good age range due to the snap issue.
