The Rubiks are great and they come with some formulas to help you solve them. The formulas are hard to follow for beginners in my opinion. They don't rotate very fast but at a decent speed.

My 13 year old son loves these cubes! He use to take his phone when we jumped in the car, now it is his cubes! If your kid loves challenges or needs to be challenged, this is a great idea!

Even for beginners, I think they are too loose, specially the 3x3, you spin it and they all move out of place. Buy hey they are good to find out if youre really interested in cubing, and $20 bucks for all 4, not bad. Once you know you like it, then you can buy some better product.
